Cool Off with a Summer Drink at this Philly Park

5th August 2021

August in the Philly area is known for one thing: the heat! While the end of the summer is in sight, the dog days of the season are still here for a few more weeks. To beat the heat, you can seek solace in one of the many museums, shops and movie theaters near your The Victor apartment. But if you do want to soak up the sun without breaking too much of a sweat, you can also check out everyone’s favorite outdoor summer activity: a beer garden!

There are plenty of such spots right near your The Victor apartment, including Terrace on Tap at the Independence Visitor Center. The pop-up dining and drinking experience is located on the second floor of the city’s official tourism hub, overlooking some of the region’s most historic spaces, including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Visitors have full access to the Visitor Center, which offers exhibits, films and more that document the city’s storied history.

See it all for yourself with the panoramic views from Terrace on Tap. The venue features bites from Liberty View Terrace, including burritos, paninis, jumbo Bavarian pretzels and more. On the drink side, enjoy craft brews from local breweries like Workhouse Brewing Co. and Wissahickon Brewing Co., including pale ales, sour ales, citrus brews and more—perfect for a warm summer night! Brulee Catering is also on site with themed summer cocktails, such as Independence Lemonade, featuring vodka, cucumber, fresh basil and a hint of lime, or the Liberty Margarita that includes tequila, lemon, orange, lime and triple sec.

So, if you’re looking to hang onto summer a few weeks longer, head out to Terrace on Tap to enjoy the flavors of the season.
